Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using FieldDeck ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

FieldDeck is a job management and invoicing application for iOS designed for contractors and service professionals. The App allows you to track jobs, manage clients, and generate invoices.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the accuracy of information you enter into the App
  • Backing up your data regularly using iCloud or CSV export
  • Ensuring your invoices comply with local laws and regulations
  • Protecting access to your device and iCloud account

Subscriptions and Payments

FieldDeck offers a free tier and paid subscription ("Pro"). Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store.

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
  • Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy

Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, and content, is owned by FieldDeck and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED. YOU USE THE APP AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIELDDECK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, for any reason, without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
